THE ORGANIZATIONS WE SUPPORT

Every year Grey Dun Studio donates money and products to a large number of animal welfare and rescue groups, as well as an occasional therapeutic riding or similar organization. We feel it is better to send a smaller amount to numerous and varying groups than to focus on only a few. We try to vary the recipients in order to give as many as possible a chance for our support. The size of the donations is determined by our profits (in a good year we can send more) or, in the case of a fundraising event, a pre-determined percent of sales from that event.
If you have a LEGITIMATE rescue group, shelter or organization you would like us to consider for support, please send written documentation and a copy of your not-for-profit info to:

So far in 2005 Patricia raffled off a painting with the help of the New England Dressage Assn and raised $1800. for Noah's Wish and the HSUS for Hurricane Katrina animal rescue, later matched by the NEDA board of directors, (hooray!) and we held a fundraiser for our local shelter. The current Open Studio is donating 20% to Noah's Wish and others. Previous fundraisers have been held for Animal Kind cat rescue, IFAW (the International Fund for Animal Welfare) and many more, and we make donations to the following, among others: The World Society for Protection of Animals (WSPA), Hooved Animal Humane Society, In Defense of Animals, The Fund for Animals, Return to Freedom, Animal Legal Defense Fund, Lifesavers, Alley Cat Allies, Friends of Animals, and about twenty more.
